What is a Fuse (Electrical)? How Does a Fuse Work?
The circuit elements used to cut off the current with a reason that the current passing through the circuit exceeds a certain limit is called electrical fuse. The occurrence of very high currents over the circuit elements is prevented from occurring and eliminates all electrical problems. The electrical fuse, which provides a kind of security structure, determines the current levels. It also allows it to remain in order.
The fuse connected in series to the circuit opens the circuit in case of any current densities and prevents the occurrence of dangerous situations. There are two different types of auto-fuse or wire fuse. They differ in terms of usage areas and usage styles.

Why Does a Fuse Use?
In case of an electric current above the capacity of the fuse, it prevents over-density. In such a case, usually, the electrical fuse is blown. This means that the system is shut down. In case of a short circuit, the fuse safety structure is activated in case of any leakage. Although the outer metal parts of the receivers in homes or offices are connected to grounding, such a process is unlikely if there is no problem with the earthing facility. In cases of leakage, the person is able to provide insurance security due to his / her condition.
Wire melting occurs in case of heavy current passing through the circuit in the type of fuse where wires with lower melting temperatures are used. In this way, the wire is cut and the electricity is cut off. The wire needs to be replaced in order to be re-energized in the type of fuse that has been used in very old times. In magnetic fuses, the coil is magnetized in high current conditions.
It is possible to cut the circuit current by pulling the metal block itself. Another type of fuse that provides protection by the expansion of two different metal structures is defined as metal double fuses. In order for the electric current to be cut off, the contact in the circuit must be opened. This is due to the expansion of the fuse metals. The process is realized by forming a trend condition towards much less expanded metal.

Although it is often referred to as a problem of cutting or throwing, safety is provided by the electrical fuse. A fuse will also provide safety when indicating that this current has been disabled.
